In keeping with its commitment to child online protection, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has heightened its sensitization outreach to special categories of stakeholders.
In the latest case, the Lagos Zonal Office of the Commission recently organised a cybercrime awareness programme targeting children of Wahab Folawiyo Junior and Senior High Schools as well as Government Junior College, Maroko both in Lagos State.

The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive (EVC/CE) of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Prof. Umar Danbatta, this afternoon led a team of Management staff from the Commission to pay a courtesy call on the Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Right Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila at the latter's office in the National Assembly.
Danbatta was accompanied on the visit by the Executive Commissioner Stakeholder Management of NCC, Mr. Adeleke Adewolu, the Commission's Director Public Affairs, Dr. Henry Nkemadu, and Head, Legislative and Government Relations, Bashir Bello.

In its commitment to continually engage stakeholders at all levels, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) earlier today hosted pupils and students of Jewel Model School Kubwa and Dorben Digital Schools, Bwari, Abuja to an educational visit.
The educational tour visit is designed to enhance students’ learning by providing opportunities for the students to participate in non-curriculum activities outside the normal school routine.

The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive (EVC/CE) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta yesterday in Stockholm, met Mr. Dan Sjoblom, the Director-General of the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS). Danbatta had strategic meetings with Managements of PTS, Spider, and Ericsson - stakeholders in Swedish telecom sector - to discuss data pricing, explore capacity-building opportunities, and to seek collaboration on fibre solutions.
