The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, has reiterated that the Commission's drive for pervasive Broadband penetration is crucial to deepening access and availability of e-government services to citizens.
Danbatta affirmed this in a keynote address delivered at the well-attended maiden edition of The Nigeria e-Government Conference organised by DigiServe Networks held at Sheraton, Lagos on Thursday (24/10/2019).

VIDEO: NCC to embark on awareness creation on safe use of the internet for children.
The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, has said that the Commission is coming up with an awareness project which is aimed at sensitising the Nigerian child on the safe use of the Internet.
Danbatta affirmed in an opening remark at a joint workshop on child online protection which started on Tuesday October 15, 2019.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) today (15/10/2019) visited the headquarters of Galaxy Backbone Limited in Abuja to strengthen inter-agency synergy and collaboration towards deepening connectivity for businesses and public institutions in the country.
Led by its Executive Vice Chairman (EVC), Prof. Garba Danbatta, the NCC team, compromising senior management staff of the Commission, also embarked on a tour of a Tier III National Data Centre built by Galaxy Backbone in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
