The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has again urged the about 175 million telecom subscribers in the country to leverage the various consumer initiatives it has put in place to protect them from being short-changed by their service providers.
The Commission made the call during a Consumer Conversation programme organised by its Zonal Operations Department which held at Keffi, Nasarawa State on Thursday, September 26, 2019. The Commission advised the consumers to take advantage of various interventions to protect themselves from unwholesome practices.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has read the riot act to telecom service providers in the country, insisting that they have to do everything possible to improve service delivery to the consumers on their various networks or face regulatory sanctions.
The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of the NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta, handed down the warning on Friday September 27, 2019, in a remark that signalled the commencement of the NCC Day at the ongoing Abuja International Trade Fair.
