The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, in keeping with items 4 and 5 of its 8-Point Agenda - Promoting ICT Innovation; and Facilitating Strategic Collaboration and Partnerships - has donated 25 HP all-in-one desktops personal computers (PCs), two EPSON projectors and projector screens with a tripod to the Public Accounts Committee of the Federal House of Representatives to enhance the automation of the Committee's functions.
The Public Accounts Committees of Nigeria's Federal bicameral legislature audit the annual reports of over 800 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of the Federal Government. The troves of paper work involved in the process made the task quite challenging.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has advised all its licensees to be sticklers to the rules of engagement as evinced in Nigerian Communications Act (2003), Regulations, Guidelines as well as Directions guiding the telecommunications industry. Efosa Idehen, Director, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement at the Commission stated this today when he received on behalf of Prof. Umar Danbatta, the EVC/CE of NCC, top members of Management of Pan African Towers Limited (PATL) who came on a courtesy visit to the Commission.

The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta has said by licensing Infrastructure Companies (Infracos) to deploy and cascade fibre optics to the rural areas, NCC is promoting investment in capacities which is at the heart of and necessary condition for digital transformation.
Danbatta stated this when he received Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Director General of the newly established Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NDC) who led a delegation from NDC on a courtesy visit to NCC this afternoon.

The new Chief Executive Officer of NTEL, Honourable Babatunde Omotoba, accompanied by Damian Udeh, the company's General Manager, Corporate Affairs this afternoon paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
The NTEL team was received by Mr. Sunday Dare, NCC's Executive Commissioner Stakeholder Management, at NCC's Head Office in Abuja.
