Members of the SERVICOM Nodal Committee at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) are presently developing a performance measurement framework for improved performance and efficiency of service delivery at a workshop designed for that purpose at Mararaba in Nasarawa State.
At the five-day workshop which started on July 1, 2019, the Commission is re-dedicating and renewing its commitment to improved and effective service delivery in the regulation of the telecommunications sector Nigeria.

In his book, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century, Yuval Noah Harari pertinently and repeatedly gives us a wakeup call on the daunting challenges posed by the fourth industrial revolution.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has a new Director, Public Affairs (DPA). He is Dr. Henry Chukwudumeme Nkemadu.
His appointment, according to the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC), Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, is in line with the Commission’s policy of putting round pegs in round holes for optimum delivery of responsibilities especially now that the stakes are getting higher for the Commission’s regulatory oversight.

The NCC has said the ICT is central to advanced virtual learning in medical care and learning and that is the reason NCC has been in the vanguard of propagating ICT education through deployment of equipment to School Knowledge Centres, Libraries, Community Resource Centres and other initiatives.
Shuaibu Swade, Controller NCC Kano Zonal Office stated this recently during an interactive session with the students and management of the School of Midwifery in Gworzo Local Government Area of Kano State.

The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, has said the Commission was gratified by the interest shown by Viasat in the ever-expanding telecommunication industry in Nigeria and he assured that NCC looked forward to working with the company to provide accessible and affordable broadband services to the Nigerian market.
