The Director General of the National Institute for Pharmaceuticals Research and Development (NIPRD), Dr. Peter Obi Adigwe, has said that NIPRD and NCC need to collaborate to build a data base to harness the research by all those working in pharmaceutical area, so that prospective investors can access such data base easily.
Adigwe, who spoke extensively to establish the basis for collaboration between NIPRD and NCC based on the latter's 8-Point Agenda, was speaking during the courtesy visit he paid to the Commission in appreciation of the support NCC had earlier offered and to discuss areas of more concrete collaboration.

The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, has affirmed that access to robust broadband infrastructure by any country is central to that country's ability to effectively harness the full potential and reap the benefits of the current Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
Danbatta stated this in a goodwill message deliverered on his behalf by Ismail Adedigba, Head, Information and Reference, NCC, during the three-day 2019 edition of the Information Communication Technology and Telecommunication (ICTEL) Expo, which kicked off at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on Tuesday.

VIDEO: NCC presents awards to winners of the Strategy, Policy and Process Awareness Quiz for staff
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), on Friday 12th July 2019, presented awards and gifts to three of its staff who scored highest in the Strategy, Policy and Process Awareness (SPPA) quiz.
According to Josephine Amuwa, the director of NCC’s Department of Corporate Planning, Strategy and Risk Management that organises SPPA quiz, the award is organised quarterly for the Commission’s staff to deepen their knowledge of the policies and processes in the various departments and to make them more efficient on the job.
