The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) held the 44th edition of its Consumer Town Hall Meeting in Oguta, Imo state on the 29th of November 2018.
The event is an initiative of the Commission held in rural areas to bring together Telecom Consumers in there rural areas with the Network Operators and the Regulator (NCC) to discuss and proffer solutions to consumer-related issues.

The third tier of the Nigerian Communications Commission’s ‘Roundtable Forum with Academia, Telecom Industry and other Stakeholders held at University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State on the 28th and 29th November 2018.
The forum is expected to improve collaboration among the Commission, academia, telecom industry players and other stakeholders to accelerate innovation, industrial growth and sustainable development in the Nigerian telecoms industry.

The Nigerian Communications Commission hosted the 4th quarter of Industry Consumer Advisory Forum (ICAF) at Ibis Hotel, No. 23 Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos on November 27, 2018, with a thematic focus on: “Progressing from Customer Service to Customer Experience- The Consumers’ Point of View.”
ICAF was initiated by the NCC in February 2009, for the protection and promotion of the interest of Consumers including persons with Special Needs and the Elderly (Challenged Group) pursuant to the 2003 Act of Parliament establishing the NCC and the Commission’s centric posture and in order to ensure non- discriminatory service delivery as well as acceptable Quality of Experience (QoE) by consumers of ICT products and services.

On July 17, 2018, the Board & Management of the Nigerian Communications Commission inaugurated a panel Committee of Experts group to develop an appropriate blueprint for ICT Innovation/ Research Programmes in Nigeria.
It is pertinent to note that the Commission has established Digital Bridge Institutions in some selected states of the country realizing the role of ICT in development, growth and youth empowerment.

Consumer Town Hall Meeting organized by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) held at Maryam Ademarayola Event Centre, Okedogbon Street, Owo, Ondo State, on 22nd November, 2018.
The event is one of the initiatives of the NCC to bring together Network Operators, the Regulator (NCC) and Telecom consumers together in the rural areas, to discuss, proffer solutions to consumer related issues and ensure consumers have value for money through effective service delivery.
