Ibrahim Abner, the Principal of Federal Government College Billiri, Gombe State, has said that the school will continue to be grateful to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for establishing an Internet laboratory in the school.

Abner, who said this during a courtesy visit to the Commission, sought for more support from the Commission to improve ICT teaching and learning in the school.

Iyabode Solanke, Director Projects, NCC, who received the Principal and his team on behalf of the Executive Vice Chairman, NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta stated that the Commission has established numerous Internet Laboratories in various primary, secondary and tertiary schools in Nigeria and will continue to support education through provision of ICT equipment.

Iyabode Solanke said: "we encourage students to be computer literate so they can work anywhere and do whatever that is good that they want to do with their lives” in and after school.
Solanke reiterated that the request of the school will be reviewed and forwarded to Management for consideration.
